Create an appointment at passport.gov.ph
Go to passport.gov.ph or the official DFA Passport Appointment System. Select your preferred DFA office and available date. Personal information slots fill up quickly — book at least 4–6 weeks in advance. Save your appointment reference number.
Prepare your documents before appointment
Required for Filipino citizens (adults): PSA-authenticated birth certificate (not local civil registry), 1 valid government-issued ID, accomplished application form (available at the DFA office), and payment. If renewing: bring your old passport.
Pay the passport fee at the DFA office
Pay ₱950 for regular processing (15 working days) or ₱1,200 for expedited processing (7 working days) at the DFA cashier. Payment accepted in cash at the office or via online payment during appointment booking on some platforms.
Have your photo and biometrics taken at the DFA office
Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment. Bring all documents. DFA takes your photo and fingerprints on-site — do not bring your own photo. Dress appropriately (no sleeveless tops, no coloured hair visible in photo).
Track and collect your passport
Track your passport at eservices.dfa.gov.ph → Passport Status. Delivery options: release at the DFA office (bring your official receipt and a valid ID) or courier delivery (additional fee, usually ₱150 via LBC or DHL).
